Prevention Services

The Multicultural Eastside Center of Columbus Area, Inc. (MECCA), is the agency’s communitybased prevention program, designed to service “atrisk” youths and their families. The program’s mission is to promote positive human development and cultural enrichment through the offering of individual, family counseling, community empowerment support groups, consultation, education and outreach. Services include; school and communitybased prevention groups that focus on mental health, alcohol, tobacco and other drugs.
